Whether you have recurring or sporadic transportation needs, Youngtimers Transit is the convenient, affordable, and safe option that fits virtually every lifestyle. We have two flexible service offerings targeted to meet the needs of Washington D.C. Metro area families: Memberships and Occassional Service packages. Regardless of which you choose, prepare to be impressed by our customer service and reliability!

DOOR TO DOOR MEMBERSHIPS

Youngtimer Members enjoy discounts on rates, priority booking, member rewards, and reserved seating on our custom-designed buses.   Because safety is of the utmost importance, no adults are transported with children, only other minors. If you have recurring weekly shuttle needs of 4-5 days a week, then you will benefit from either a Annual or Fall/Spring Semester membership. These routine services are great for the busy parent who may need to arrange school drop-off or pick-up or transport children to after-school activities or sports practices/games.
 

FALL OR SPRING MEMBERSHIPS (5 Months)

Enrollment Fee: $35
*Fall - August – December
*Spring – January - June

• $3 off one way weekly fee
• $5 off roundtrip weekly fee
• 1 free emergency transit pass
• Secure seat and weekly fee for duration of enrollment
• 10% discount on other transportation needs
• Referral bonus of $20 off one week of service
• Multiple child discount

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS (10 Months)

*August - June

• $5 off one way weekly fee
• $7 off roundtrip weekly fee

OCCASSIONAL SERVICE

For patrons who wish to utilize our services on an as needed basis, Youngtimers Transit is cheaper than a cab, safer than the Metrobus, and more convenient than driving yourself. Custom packages are also available and negotiable.

DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL OPTIONS

Referral Program (Door to Door Members Only)
We are confident you will be so pleased with our services that you cannot help but spread the word. However, as an added incentive, you will receive $20 OFF one week of service (in addition to your discounted member rate) if your referral signs up as a member. Further, if you are School Year Member, you will also receive an additional emergency transit pass.

Emergency Transit Pass (Door to Door Members Only)
Emergency transit passes are a great resource for members who find themselves in a position of needing unexpected transportation service. For example, if your child gets sick at school and you can’t leave work or are too far away, you can utilize your emergency transit pass. We will pick up your child and drop him/her off at your designated location within 10 miles of the pick-up location.

Multiple Child Discount
You will receive a multiple child discount when 2 or more riders are picked up and dropped off at the same location. This is optimal for parents who have multiple children attending the same school. This discount can also be applied if there are neighbors or friends with children who could take advantage of the same pick-up and drop-off location/schedule. The discount is as follows: 20% for annual and semester members, and 15% for non members.

Weekend Transportation
Since we are an all purpose pre-arranged transportation company. We can provide transportation for you, your child/ren, and/or parents for whatever transportation needs you may have. Members can utilize our services on a discounted rate for individual or small group transportation to and from the mall, amusement park, dinner and movies, or wherever your schedule demands .

Additional Transit Miles (Door to Door Members Only)
Use your additional travel miles instead of paying the next mileage tier. This is especially optimal for members whose travel is 11 or 12 miles. With additional travel miles, you will only pay the fee for 10 miles even though your destination is over 10 miles away.

Businesses, Schools, and Organizations
Organizations and School are more than welcome to contact Youngtimers for group services if needed. We can structure transit routes if you need service at your school, or shuttle clients to appointments, and much, much more.
